Notes On Columns:
- Horiz & Vert To test if screen looks fuzzy,
excellent was a Discovery Channel documentary of a USA
aircraft carrier: Much small detail, including shallow
drooping cable runs in corridors, which really tests the
pixels. A
Panasonic Plasma TH-42PV60H (106cm) @ 1700 EUro in Conrad.De) was
much less grainy than a
Philips 42PF7320/1D that cost 100 or 200 Euro more I
recall.
- Acronyms All wide screen formats with vertical 768
- 1023 shown as WXGA.
- Aspect Ration Approximate collequial approximate
integers.
- Aspect Decimal Exact Decimal from Horiz / Vert
.
- CommentExact:
2.54cm = 1" not allowing for any of the old lieing monitor/TV
under plastic blezel at corner to edge of glass tube. (Always
better to use cm than inches on monitors (& maybe TVs ?),
to avoid the industry lies.)
