non technical staff & corporate server requirements.
Using Free Software enables more cost effective engineering
& business. "Don't Panic!"
Technicalities for `gurus/ geeks/ freaks/ hackers' are
omitted from this talk.

Format & Schedule
Lecture with four assistant speakers
to briefly outline some sub topics. Questions during talks
should be kept brief please, as timescale is tight for all speakers. Question session to panel of
all speakers at end in the lecture room. Speakers will be available over dinner for
more questions. Lecture in English, More complex/ specialist
questions over dinner in English or German.

optional dinner (or drinks) after. You do Not need to
be a member to book a free seat, but DO book as soon as
possible.
- The lecture is free, both for members of Faraday
& others, but IET /
Faraday members may get preference over late
bookers.
- Pay waiter direct for drink & food you order off
normal menu.
- Please tell your colleagues & associates & book
as soon as possible. (Much time will be spent
preparing the lecture, so nice if maximum audience benefit
)
- If seats are all gone by the time you book, email the

a repeat later.
After the lecture, presentation "slides" will be archived
here , for audience & free source software groups.
