Hi foreigners in Munich (feel free to forward).
The postal strike may hit Munich soon, so it's time to fill the ballot
paper (ref below), then post [or hand in at ballot box on election day].
The ballot paper is the size of a table, & fonts small, & occupations
faint, so nicer to choose candidates at home, seated under good
light with a magnifying glass on occupations, rather than in a
smallish ballot booth with paper up both sides of walls. Nice that
one can use occupations to help choose.
40 votes, 21 party groups, None labelled eg SPD, or FDP etc, many
single nationality groups, eg Turks Greeks Croats etc, some multi nationals
eg List 18 Liberal & List 15 "International Liste der progressive
Sozial Demokrat* (ILPS)" includes Hasanbegovic Anes candidate 1508
& Odell Craig c. 1512.
Other Anglos: 2 Brit: c. 219 & 1001, 1 American c. 208
Some Ukrainians & Russians too, & some from South of equator etc.
Do vote, whoever its for :-)

Each elector gets 40 votes, candidates names are bunched in groups,
one can also vote for individuals, & occupation/professionsa are
listed under candidates names.
You can also ask for a postal ballot as 19th March is a Sunday &
you might be up a mountain etc.
As UK stole Brits abroad right to vote for or against Brexit,
& Brexit then stole Brits in EU right to vote in the EU,
we may as well vote for what little we still can.

Hey Julian,
it is Anes Hasanbegovic from the SPD Munich. If You can remember before the
Pandemic we met at the manifestation regarding Brexit and the position of
people with British citizenship in Munich.
I am running for the Council for Migrants of the City of Munich. The
election is on the 19th of march and I wondered whether we could organize a
meeting or event with the British citizens in Munich? We could talk about
possible projects we can work on!
Craig Odell is our candidate on the SPD list who comes from Britain as well.
